The Bible Unpacked 1.1.13

This application offers seven editions of Bible teachings, each serving as a condensed version of its larger counterpart. Originally published as books and booklets, these editions are also available in PDF format.

The Home page features colored boxes that link to each edition. With the exception of the smallest edition, all editions consist of eight sections (or units) within the main text, color-coded for ease of navigation; for instance, headings in each unit share a common color scheme.

The provided screenshots primarily showcase the Intermediate Edition, which is accessed via the brown box on the Home page. As a mid-sized edition, it presents a comprehensive introduction to the content offered across all editions.

The Bottom Bar

Located at the base of the Home page, the bottom bar includes icons directing users to various informational pages regarding the app, such as Home, About, Privacy, License, and Contact. This bottom bar maintains consistency across all pages.

When engaging with any edition (aside from the smallest), the bottom bar additionally features icons for:

• Menu
• Search
• Bookmarks
• Home
• Settings

The Settings section allows for a secondary level of icons on the bottom bar that toggle commonly used settings on and off. For detailed information regarding icon functionality, refer to “The Icons on the App’s Bars” in the About section (direct link).

Navigation

The navigation experience for any of the seven editions is enhanced through several features:

• Menus
• The ability to set and name multiple bookmarks
• A search function that filters headings within the current edition, linking directly to their corresponding sections in the text.
• Indexes containing entries hyperlinked to their locations within the main text.

Please note that menus, search capabilities, and bookmarks are applicable solely to the edition currently being viewed.

Bookmarks

To establish a bookmark on your current page:

1. Select the Bookmark icon to open the Bookmarks dialog.
2. Tap on a heading or any paragraph you wish to bookmark.
3. Select a Set button.
4. Optionally, input a label and tap Apply.

A button located on the right-hand side of the dialog box facilitates quick access back to your bookmarked heading or paragraph. Bookmarks remain accessible in subsequent sessions.

Settings

The initial view of Settings displays options pertinent to only the current edition; however, modifications to any setting will affect all applicable editions. The final section of the Settings page (“Important”) details how to access all settings and specifies which editions each setting pertains to. Additionally, brief explanations under each setting are available for user guidance.

The Settings page includes:

• Options for displaying extra content (e.g., Questions, Cross-references)
• Layout configurations such as displaying page content in a side pane for wider devices and adding a second tier of icons in the bottom bar.
• Color and style customization options.

Please be advised that more limited Settings options are offered in smaller editions compared to larger ones.
